He tries to create the perfect order of good. However at the crowning point of his universe, it is destroyed.
Partly out of what he created from his repressed fears.
Unable to effect change, he is forced to watch his universe destroyed, forcing his back to the reality he had fled from.

Young adult and older.
Welcome to the Dwillands. A place where a curious little people have become quite powerful. They are doing business
and even war in far off lands. This is not to the liking of conservative Dwill Pindby B. Broomwhistle. He prefers to
administer the Broomwhistle Detective Academy for Near and Distant Relations from the quiet of his small town. Every
two years Pindby graduates one student. Currently his nephew Belium Brownsea occupies that slot. Things are fine
until the “hustle and bustle” of the world comes to Pindby’ s door in the form of a letter. It is from the famous
Esquire Bombadas Mistleharsh. Someone has kidnapped his daughter! It is a call the old Detective can not refuse.
After finding out, from the corrupt Stringle the Habadasher, that the girl has been taken by the Witch Cults Pindby
and Belium march off into Montrolla – the Wild Lands. On the way the mystery deepens, not to mention the suspense,
as the Gnome Glirt, a grandmaster spy and former star of the stage, and Marlon a Centaur in service to the Dwill
Government add to the adventure the two Dwills find themselves drawn into.

Review on Amazon.com: Broomwhistle is Great!,
August 15, 2010 By Fantasy Reader.
This review is from: The Broomwhistle Chronicles: Witch Hunt of the Dwills (Paperback): The Broomwhistle Chronicles
is a great fantasy adventure in the spirit of Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. It is full of original characters and
a detective story that takes place in the middle of a big war. The Dwill, creatures somewhere between Hobbits and Goblins,
are adorable and fascinating. Uncle Pindby is hard to forget as an old Dwill who teaches his nephew Belium the ropes of
surviving a crime investigation during dangerous times. The detectives have to brave Box-Wrestling matches, The Great
Forest, endless monsters, the wild lands and nasty Dwill administrators to rescue some Dwill girls who are "Dwillnapped"
by a rogue coven of Witches. I especially liked old Uncle Pindby's concern for his young nephew as the pair, along with
interesting companions picked up along the way, avoid and outsmart the many traps set by the powerful Witches during
the chase to retrieve the Dwill girls. It's incredible how the author pits Dwill Detective skills against the Witches
magic...

How mavericks, misfits, and dreamers faced huge odds and sometimes each other to build the world's first all news
network. This is not a chronological history of how CNN changed the world's news viewing habits. I'll leave that
to Ted Turner and other visionaries. My story is about the misfits. Despite incompetence and inexperience, the
only thing that held this unlikely crew together was fear. There were no life boats at the Chicken Noodle Network.
Before sign-on, CNN hired lots of people who knew precious little about producing a single hour of TV news.
We're talking about producing news 24 hours a day, for God's sake. It had never been done before.
A handful of producers and directors, at various levels of competency and experience, rose above the flotsam of negativism
that threatened to sink us all.
This book is about the little network that could, and I was there.
